AI-first software investing: building the next 30 years of software

We believe the best software companies were not built last year. They were built by founders who saw a problem, solved it, and stayed close to their customers until their solutions became part of how industries work.

At Manos Software Group, these are the companies we invest in and help grow. Many have been profitable for decades, quietly powering the systems that keep businesses and communities moving. They have earned trust, built resilience, and created value through consistency.

Today, we are entering an exciting new chapter. The tools are changing, expectations are shifting, and the definition of great software is expanding. What matters most now is not just how these businesses operate today, but how ready they are for the decades ahead.

The shift from cloud to intelligence

The last major transformation in software was the move to the cloud; it changed how we deployed, managed, and scaled technology. The one we now find ourselves in is intelligence.

Very quickly, we are all watching AI reshape the entire lifecycle of software. Support that once required a team can now happen instantly, implementations that took months can be completed in days and every user interaction becomes a chance for the product to improve itself.

This change does not start from zero. Companies that understand their customers and hold years of structured data are already positioned to lead. They do not need to chase disruption, they already have the foundation to build intelligently.

Our role is to help them do exactly that. We bring the systems, capital, and experience needed to evolve what works into what leads

Reinvention without replacement

We often ask ourselves: how do you take a company that’s been great for 30 years and ensure it stays great for the next 30?

The answer is to build forward. We use what already works: the customer relationships, the processes, and the operational expertise that have stood the test of time. Then we introduce new layers of intelligence that extend their value.

That might mean launching new products through existing distribution. It might mean applying AI to personalize customer experiences or transforming years of institutional knowledge into scalable systems.

This is what AI-first investing means to us. We are not replacing legacy, we are strengthening it by turning experience into leverage.

From insight to action

We’ve put this philosophy into motion by creating new AI ventures inside our group. Each was born from a real operational challenge within our portfolio and developed into a standalone company serving its own market.

Claio provides an AI toolkit that supports the daily workflows of clinicians. It can listen to patient encounters and generate structured notes, assist with medical coding, handle reception and scheduling tasks, and help manage follow-ups. It is HIPAA-compliant, designed for real clinical environments, and built to reduce administrative burden so clinicians can focus more of their time on patient care.

StableTrack helps equine veterinarians manage complex, mobile practices. Its AI automation simplifies scheduling, patient records, billing, and inventory so teams can focus on care instead of administration.

Luminee accelerates one of clinical research’s slowest stages: trial start-up. It automates protocol ingestion, database builds, validation, and documentation, reducing timelines from months to days and helping sponsors move faster with better data.

Fulltime helps HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service teams stay on top of incoming calls. It answers right away, gives customers the information they need, and sends urgent requests to the right technician. It works 24/7 so businesses avoid missed calls and maintain reliable, professional service at all times.

Each of these ventures began as a small experiment. Each now serves a real market and solves meaningful problems. This is how we approach AI: grounded in operations, built with customers, and tested in the real world.

Thinking in decades

At Manos, we invest with patience and conviction. Our focus is not short-term results but lasting strength. We partner with teams that have already built something enduring and give them the support, expertise, and tools they need to evolve with confidence.

Software that lasts is built on discipline, craftsmanship, and curiosity. AI is simply the next instrument in that craft.

Keep building

The next generation of software will belong to companies that combine deep domain knowledge with a drive to evolve.

We believe those companies already exist. They only need the right partners, the right vision, and the right momentum to lead again.

That is what we are building at Manos.

The next 30 years of software, shaped by experience, powered by intelligence, and led by people who know what it takes to last.
